The world rings with tame of the bright and romantic Ukrainian dance flying over it like a swift-winged bird. One is captivated by its irresistible charm and originality, richly emanating the beauty of the Ukrainian land and the wisdom and optimism of its people. The folk dance is an indelible world which always wins the hearts of public and needs not any translation.

The folk dance ensemble "Dana" set is up in 1998, was organized and unfailingly guided by Natalia Ivanova, a well known folklorist Svetlana Kurochkina, she is many brilliantly expressed in the ensemble's concert programs.

The "Dana" which by choreographic means glorifies the humanistic ideals and fortifying peace and friendship between the peoples for what was honored the title of laureate of international folk festivals. The "Dana" continued collecting of folk dances and creating new choreographic miniatures or gala stage reproductions based on the past or present life of the Ukrainian people.

So, the Bulgarian newspaper wrote: "The Ukrainian dances are lustrous like sun. You just go and see the show, and you will understand what the Ukraine is like". Now the "Dana", as well as its director are in the prime of life and activity, now artistic projects and plans will turn into new dances and new thrilling programs
